My Hobbies
I enjoy getting high, as in flying. I am not a pilot, but I was a "fighter pilot for a day" years ago, engaging in "dog fights" and all kinds of stunts. Last summer, I flew a stunt plane doing Top Gun-type maneuvers. The next day, I jumped out of a perfectly good plane over the Arizona Desert!
My wife (Linda) and I also love to travel. We have taken some amazing trips.
Since it's impractical to do the above very often, I enjoy movies and series. I follow politics fairly closely. I like to garden a bit. And I am an aspiring writer.
My Background
I attended Evangel University for my Bachelor's degree, Nelson University for my Master's, and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary for my Doctorate.
I pastored 3 churches and served on staff at several others over the last 30 years.
I also taught adjunct classes for several Christian colleges and universities over the last 15 years. Now I am a full-time professor at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School in Ellendale, ND.
I love preaching, teaching, and encouraging people in their faith.
