My Hobbies
I enjoy anything related to flying. I am not a pilot, but I have been a "fighter pilot for a day," having flown in a stunt plane and performed Top Gun-type maneuvers (with professional pilots). I have even jumped out of a perfectly good plane!
My wife (Linda) and I also love to travel and have taken some amazing trips.
Since its impractical to do the above very often, I also like to watch movies and shows. I follow politics fairly closely. I like to garden a bit. And I am an aspiring writer.
My Background
I attended Evangel University for my Bachelor's degree, Nelson University for my Master's, and the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary for my Doctorate.
I pastored 3 churches and served on staff at several others over the last 30 years.
I also taught adjunct classes for several Christian colleges and universities over the last 15 years. Now I am a full-time professor at Trinity Bible College and Graduate School in Ellendale, ND.
Goals for the Website
I hope to pass on my thoughts on a variety of subjects within my realm of knowledge, experience, and expertise.
I hope to encourage those struggling with issues of faith, emotions, and interpersonal skills.
Additionally, I will include observations about biblical passages and topics as well as current areas of interest out there in the real world.
